Discussion of Next Two Weeks: Conducting Online Classes

We will attempt to use a free web conferencing system to "meet" online next week instead of meeting face-to-face. In addition, we will explore the use of a collaborative online word processor.

The programs we will use include:

Online activities are scheduled at several different times during the week of June 23 to June 27. The TENTATIVE schedule it to have 30 minute online sessions on the days and times shown below.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only 3 people can participate in an online meeting at one time so it will be necessary for you to email me (at: brobin@uh.edu) to let me know which day and time you are able to participate. When I have received confirmation messages from you, I will update the schedule below to let you know which slots are no longer available.

Please try to participate in ONE of the online class sessions, even if for only part of the time to see if the online options work on your computer.

You will not need to sign up for an account since you can join an online meeting as a guest. And you do not need to download and install any software to participate
except for the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player, which may already be installed on your computer. You can get the free Flash Player from here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

More specific information will be added on the Class 4 Page
