Final Semester Project

The Final Project is due on Monday, August 4, 2008, and each student will demonstrate their project to other members of the course.


The Final Semester Project is worth a maximum of 35 points and will be graded as follows:

The Final Project Report is worth a maximum of 10 points.

The report should be submitted as a word processed document and should address the following:

  1. Briefly describe the topic of your final project and discuss the major objectives of the project.
     
  2. Why did you select this topic?
     
  3. Who is the intended audience for the project and how do you think it will it be used?
     
  4. What software programs did you use in creating this project?
     
  5. What hardware, if any, did you use in creating this project?
       
  6. Describe any challenges you faced in creating this project.
     
  7. Do you feel that the project is complete, needs more work? If you feel it needs more work, please list some of the major areas you feel should be addressed first.
     
  8. What were the most significant things you learned from from completing the final project?
     
  9. Please add any other information you feel would help describe your work on this project.
     

    Grades will be based on the degree to which the work meets the guidelines set out in the proposed plan, or an explanation of changes that were made to the final project as well as the quality and potential usefulness of the work.

    The paper is poorly written and has serious grammar and/or spelling issues, and in general, does not course meet requirements.  

    No reflective paper turned in or submitted paper is of  extremely poor quality in terms of both content and writing.

In our last face-to-face class of the semester, students will demonstrate their final projects and submit all project materials and the final project report.
