The Art Education Program in the Department of Curriculum and
Instruction offers two graduate degrees: the Doctor of
Education (Ed.D.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.).
Students in these programs may specialize in areas such as
(1) philosophy, aesthetics and criticism applied to art
education; (2) history of art education; (3) art museum studies;
(4) curriculum theory, development, assessment and evaluation;
and (5) policy analysis. Students can earn the state of Texas
All-level Certification and a Master’s Degree simultaneously. |
